The Handpolo community in Iran is proud to announce a major milestone in the development of this fully Iranian sport. On August 6, 2025 (16 Mordad 1404), the first national Handpolo refereeing clinic was successfully held, bringing together a group of certified Level 3 referees from across the country. This event marks an important step towards standardizing and enhancing the quality of officiating in Handpolo competitions nationwide.
Continuing this momentum, on Thursday, August 14, 2025 (23 Mordad 1404), the first Level 3 Handpolo coaching clinic will be held. This training aims to equip coaches with advanced skills, updated regulations, and modern strategies to further promote Handpolo both at the grassroots and professional levels.
These back-to-back events highlight the growing popularity of Handpolo in Iran and its potential to expand onto the Asian and international stage.
