Handpolo
Handpolo, locally known as Toopsoo, is a water-based sport played in shallow water with a depth of approximately 100 cm, making it accessible to people of all ages and skill levels. The game is played between two teams of 8 players, including 4 active players in the water and 4 substitutes on the side.
Each match consists of two 15-minute halves. With its simple rules, Handpolo is suitable for everyone—men and women, children and adults—even beginners with no prior experience.
Handpolo was designed to allow water-based physical activity for those who cannot swim, and its straightforward rules make it adaptable both for recreational purposes and competitive levels. The sport is suitable for all age groups and holds potential for national and international development
